Members Outing at Plantation Preserve

We had a fantastic time on Saturday at the course. It poured like crazy after the first nine and we all huddled for cover hoping the storm would pass. It didn't so we enjoyed our shower and the rain checks. Below are a few photos of some of our members on the first tee. We are all looking forward to our next outing at Colony West on Saturday the 12th at 2:30. Please be sure to RSVP by 9/7/09 to reserve your spot.

Looking for recreational golfers who play at your level?

We are all familiar with that awkward feeling of being the new person joining a group at the first tee. Our mind starts to wander, our palms start to sweat, will I be able to keep up with these golfers? Do they shoot in the 80s, 90s, or are they 100Plus Golfers like me?
If you can identify with these feelings join us for one of our recreational 4 Person Scramble Outings. 100 Plus will be hosting 3 Membership Drive scrambles at some of the finest courses in South Florida. 100 Plus has arranged for preferred Tee Times and Greens fees for our group. Please bring a team or lets us introduce you to some new friends. Please remember that spots are limited. RSVP to gkogon@100plus.com to reserve yours.

Join us for enjoyable afternoon of golf:

100 Plus Golf Hosts "Rally For The Cure" Closest to the pin contest

"Rally For The Cure" Closest to the pin Contest held 8/8/09 at Plantation Preserve. It was a tremendous success. The winner Dave C shot was 10'6" from the pin. Believe it or not he was in the first foursome that took part in the event. Rally for the Cure supports the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer. Each person who took part received a one year subscription to Golf Digest, Rally logo Golf towel, a Pink Ribbon golf pin, Hallmark greeting card and material on breast cancer awareness. If you stayed on the green with your tee shot you won a Titleist Pink Ribbon Golf ball, and a chance to win the Titleist One Shot sweepstakes for a trip to TPC Scottsdale or TPC Sawgrass. The winner of the Closest to the pin contest won a Cleveland Classic Putter.
